Hello. I'm Nick Holmes (I'm the man in the check shirt playing the strange guitar in the photographs on the cover). After a long time lost in cyberspace, the website is up and running, so it gives me pleasure to say, welcome to The Nick Holmes Band website.

The Nick Holmes Band consists of my best friend, Iain Elliot (he's the one in the T-shirt on the cover), Jon Whitbread (drummer), Roland Jones (music man extraordinaire) and me. We went into the studio to record some songs. Why? Originally, the idea was just to make something that we could use to get more gigs. We love playing and it beats the hell out of a day job. Along the way, as we got carried away, it all got a little bigger than that. We think we ended up with an album that, looking back, you might say almost made itself. We also ended up with a rip-roaring band.
